As you know, I love matching my girl! Surprisingly, I don’t have a pencil skirt pattern for her. The one thing that is nice about the Pierside pencil skirt is that it’s not super fitted. There’s some ease in the hips, and she can easily still run and climb in it. This skirt pattern has several lengths, knee, mid, and maxi. There are a few different styles of hems, curved, curved with side vents, and maxi with side vents. It has a nice and comfy yoga style waistband.
You can also add pockets, or even a drawstring for a more relaxed look. The pattern is semi-fitted throughout. The girls pattern goes from sizes 12-18 months up to 16 years. The women’s fits hip sizes 31″ – 53.5″. I used some fabric from my Bee Box from Vinegar and Honey Fabrics for the stripe. I believe it was a poly rayon spandex and used a Cotton Lycra for the waistband. The floral is a brushed polyester. The patterns are on sale either in a bundle or separately until Sunday, July 30 for $7.50 each, or bundled for $14.
