It’s that time of year again for one of my favorite blog tours of the year. I really enjoy doing the fun holiday tours as it gives me a chance to sew all those beautiful dresses for my girl. The other reason that I love this tour is that I usually get to take pictures with some of my favorite people.
This year I used the Ella pattern from Simple Life Pattern Company in some beautiful knit from Art Gallery Fabrics. I love the asymmetrical skirt and the cut out with the tie in the back. There’s an option for two different ties, and of course several sleeve lengths. I really love the look of this dress. The neckline is so classic and beautiful.
Although I love a fancy dress for the holidays, sometimes having a knit dress is really nice not only for comfort but for playability too. The knit fabrics from Art Gallery fabrics are always so nice and soft too. They really do make for some of the most used dresses in our house. My daughter definitely like a fancy dress, but I also know that she does love to run around and have fun. Twirl factor is another plus.
Be sure to check out the other bloggers on this tour, including Tami Peterson and her girls in the first picture. She made the most amazing dresses for her older girls using Simple Life’s patterns and Art Gallery Fabrics as well.
